In recent years, the use of computers and internet has risen. Now computers are an integral & indispensable part of any professional, commercial and industrial activity. The development of information technology continues to give rise to novel and complex legal problems related to the use of internet and computers. To ensure the appropriate and lawful use of technology, it is necessary to have certain rules and regulations. Rules and regulations that govern the transactions carried out with the use of computers and internet comprise Cyber Laws. It is also referred to as information and communications technology law and covers electronic commerce, electronic governance, intellectual property, data protection and privacy, telecommunications, cybercrimes.

  • Bachelor degree holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.
  • International / SAARC Graduates from a recognised / accredited University / Institution.
  • Students who have appeared for final year of examination of their bachelor's degree program and are awaiting results can also apply, subject to successfully completing their bachelor's degree program / graduation within the time period specified by SCDL.
Note: Students who are in their 4/5 year of the five years of law course may also apply, subject to the successful completion of previous three years of the course.

  • The duration of the program is one year.
  • The registration period is valid for one and half academic year.

  • The Curriculum of the program is based on Indian Leagal System and Indian Laws.

    Application Form Fees (Non-refundable):
  • For Indian Residents (General / Defence): ₹ 1200/-
  • International / SAARC: US $100 OR Rs. 7,200/-

Program Fees: Students have two options of paying the fees as mentioned below:
A] Option 1 – Two -Installments: Student has to pay the full course fees in two installments. Pay 1st Installment within 15 days from the date of admission and Pay 2nd Installment within 60 days from the date of payment of 1st Installment.

    Note: Participants are required to pay exam fees per exam per attempt separately. Exam Fee is not a part of Program Fee.

    Fee Payment Mode: Fees can be paid Online or by Demand Draft.
  • Payment via Online: this can be done through payment gateway.
  • Payment via DD: this can be submitted at SCDL Pune campus. The Demand Draft needs to be in favor of "The Director, SCDL, Pune" payable at Pune only.
